On a sun-drenched afternoon in Los Angeles, Woven and CULTURED teamed up to host their second annual luncheon celebrating visionary women in design at Italian hotspot Alba. Each of the innovation-driven guests, from gallerists Megan Mulrooney and Anat Ebgi, to interior designers Jane Hallworth and Sarah Weichel, have proven their influence in shaping everything from their field's aesthetics to its practices.
Rather than the typical gallery stroll or showroom cocktail, the gathering served as an easy, laid-back forum for architects, designers, and artists from across the city to bring fresh perspectives and inspiration to the table—literally. Underfoot, the Habita series by Woven could be felt in real-time, while bouquets of fresh flowers, copies of the recent CULT100 issue, and a bright-yellow vintage car bursting with blooms and rugs stood at attention just outside.
Jewelry designer Kim Dunham, gallerist Rosa Park, lighting designer Analuisa Corrigan, West-Bourne Founder and CEO Camilla Ruth Marcus, and interior designer Corinne Mathern enjoyed refreshing plates of lemony pasta, branzino, and summer squash. The most enthusiastic attendee present? A particularly stylish pooch, who could be seen striking a pose and laying out in the afternoon light.
